Re: Dealertrack question
In Dealertrack order them on a parts ticket but as said before for use the notes feature to add the service advisor name and VIN. One thing to watch those is use the notes function on the part line level of the ticket, not on the bottom line where you enter the part number. If you enter it below it ...

Ford Chart of Accounts
Does anyone have a Ford Chart of Accounts they can share with me.
Our group recently purchased a Ford store and I have been enlisted to help with some things on the Fixed side. Nobody at the store can provide me with a complete chart of accounts.
Thanks

Ironchild,
Can't say I wouldn't have the same feelings. What ever you decision is I wish you well.

Ironchild, I don't think you are crazy. If you are motivated by challenges then go for it.

Re: Fixed Operations Managers: From Service Or Parts?
Started as a service advisor. Did that position for 1 1/2 years and was moved to parts manager. Had ZERO parts experience prior to being appointed manager. Did that for 5 years. We then purchased another store and I was moved to that store as Parts & Service Director. It is a small store so there ...

Re: Dealertrack support
I am with Greenthumb, I totally disagree with 007's comments. Like I said before I have been on Dealertrack almost 4 years now and never did I feel like they were just trying to get me off the phone. The level 1's can help with basic issues but more complex issues they are basically note takers and ...

Re: Dealertrack support
I have been on Dealertrack for almost 4 years now. I have NEVER experienced a support call going off shore. I believe all support is in the U.S.
One thing I do know some of their level 2 support does work for home rather than in their call center.

Re: ADP WebSuite 2007 vs. Dealertrack
Drapp,
We made that exact same switch about 3 years. Couldn't be happier with the switch. The biggest difference between ADP & Dealertrack in my opinion is reporting. However there are always ways to work around it.
Biggest parts difference in my opinion is stocking groups instead of sources ...
