Re: thats great thing

Not too sure how motivating this will be. If you want to give encouragement for future performance ...

Re: A Question to Service Managers

From your description it appears that Service can offer significant discounts. When posted in accounting do these discounts reduce both Labor and Parts? They should not have the ability to discount parts. Over the years I have observed Service Managers/Writers that were paid on Gross frequently ...

"Beetle Convertible and notes on the repair order he wants a price on side window deflectors"

Ask if he wants paper or plastic. He may be used to asking that question in his former job!

"The GM does, of course, have access to all the programs we need to run"

Hopefully you have verified this. I have dealt with GM's that thought they had access but never used it and their passwords were not valid. It would seem from the approach the GM is taken there are suspicions. If there is a ...

Re: GM & Disney

The Disney Experience:
Disney is not mired down in management that requires ten meetings to decide which way to load the toilet paper and then does it wrong.
They have not been thru a government financed bankruptcy.
They make money the old fashioned way.
Management constantly tracks and reviews ...
