It is often that in stk parts are reserved for a customer, maybe all by themselves or in conjunction with SOR parts.
The problem:
If you basterdize and SOR by putting an in stock item on it by way of a dummy alternate order priority, the fact that it never gets received makes any such SOR never seen ...

I find using phase in criteria for tires utterly useless and results in incomplete tire sets on the shelf.
In lieu of that, I set the FB to the desired stocking level. I made 2 reports in RPG. One to report the FB against the OH, so I can order up to the desire stocking level daily. The second ...

Fee Codes are typically by part or by labor op, and can individually be tailored to accounting journals. Shop Charges tend to get all lumped into and relieved to the Service Supplies.
So a tire for instance with fees in NY:
M&B Kit (Could relieve Parts Supplies)
Tire DIsposal (Could directly go to ...

Folks,

You can ask ADP to add Special Orders to DSDA.
Then you can search DSDA Special Orders for any info on the SOR record..part number, name etc..

Its a lifesaving tool.

ON INVOICES:
You must go back into the invoice and answer the prompt to fill the order by typing "F". Thant will both close the SOR and relieve the inventory.

ON RO's:
You must open a new RO (the assumption being that it would have to be installed) and the same is true there, fill the order and the ...
