FYI, the N didn't work. We tried it and waited for the sales loyalty report and it shows.

The problem with that is that by basing my selling price off of the discounted cost, I can still make a good $300-$400 on the sale and be competitive with the surrounding dealers. Especially the big ones that have the truckload trannies in stock. I've done it for years but I was on Reynolds.

As an example buying a transmission at truckload price and using the lower cost to be able to sell the transmission at a competitive price. How do you change cost when receipting the part like you can in Reynolds? Or just do an IO sale with the adjusted cost?

Is there a way like the U in Reynolds to sell an old part or a sprint part and not have RIM pick it up?

If there is no new stock to put away and no need for bin counts sometimes I will go through all of our used inventory and run the VINS for recalls.

Make sure you are using Internet Explorer 10 or older and not 11 or Firefox or Chrome.

There are some states that passed laws that force manufacturers to pay MSRP. That's why GM lowered list price a few years back on pretty much everything and why they set list prices for transmissions and engines.

I've gotten in arguments with sales people because they want everything at cost. When I explained that the entire store is commission except office girls and porters they change their tune.
