That was an old post, you can access the wiki from the help tab in the top corner when logged into the DMS now.

I like to add a stocking group for restocking fees and put all the accounting to COS retail sales, or whatever account you want to use and create a pt# restocking and just override the sale/cost.

Use the delete function, only if the part has history it will prompt to merge it. You can change the Manufacturer and part number and the cost and history will transfer to the new #, or the same # if you just want to change the manufacturer.

Gary and I have spoke but just for future reference, you should contact you (RSM) Regional Sales Manager from Dealertrack to begin the process whenever adding a Manufacturer.

I believe that is tracked in your Stocking Groups, and for that to be active in the Stocking Group the Service Type will need to be Active in SD>Application Env

That is actually more common than not! Its driven by the state law, so make sure you verify with your states taxing guidelines before making the change!

Dealertrack does not have a way to manually change your preferred customer type ie: R=Retail or W=Wholesale, perhaps that's an option in the back files somewhere. I would suggest that you recreate the issue, and make a case for it. I haven't heard of this happening to anyone else.
