Considering how well kiosks work for fast food restaurants, (try to find a human counterperson in Europe-they've been there already for years) and the full day coverage it provides....no lunch breaks, smoke breaks, sick days, vacations..... what company wouldn't move in this direction as soon as ...

we have to bill in 10ths of a lb, (or .0453 kg) so we sell at $15.00 per.

55K a year at 40 hrs per week = 26 bucks an hour, and NO manager is only working 40 hrs a week...so perhaps 21 an hour for a manager?

Where I am a good parts counterperson makes 22-25 per hour overall. Admittedly you'll still be broke at the end of the month thanks to local real estate prices......

We don't accept checks at all except from shops, and even those can be a little rubbery.

I dip the tanks the morning before delivery as well as after the delivery. I once had a driver trying to make up some of his 'errors' on me, sometimes using the "I'm out of paper" for the printout.
Service pays for the shortages but over the past couple of years there hasn't been much variance.

Probably Nasty Nate. Yeah, He's a treat. Not only does he not take no for an answer, he will harass you on the phone and online.

Like everyone else said, unless you can go huge it's probably not worth it. It certainly wasn't for us.

A lot of times the owner or somebody says "Sell more", or "Get your numbers up" or something like that, and our options are extremely limited.

You can enlarge your wholesale, offer a bigger ...
