I did an OVN order a few days ago, and finally today I have seen they have made a fedex label.

It has been a little noise around here for a few weeks. Insider at GM says September it's coming. I think he may want to sell more parts for the quarter.

1st time I heard about this was about 3 months ago. Customer called and asked if their "chip" was in yet. After some on hold laughing I told them I would look into it and get their info. According to the salesman, they were all told in a sales meeting that parts would get the missing chips around ...

Haven't heard of anyone closing in the Detroit Metro area yet. Business is slowing down and we have at least one indy shop that is closing for a couple weeks.
I will wait to comment on the UAW / Big 3 decision until it drops. No need speculating, we are going to be screwed either way

Buy the snake oil from the salesman and sell it all to the service dept on an invoice with a markup. That way parts can still make money and get loyal. They then bill it themselves as part of the package. We bill it to 61D and then they can do what they want.
