You're going to want to track all of the sales history on the correct part number. Potential looping PNC nightmare.

As many ways to do that as there are contributors to this forum. If it were me, and this is ADP/CDK advice, I would maintain the part number in my system that I want to stock it under ...

I like making the parts employees feel empowered, make them want to work harder and help each other as a team. To get this done, I came up with a pooled parts plan for everyone in parts -- expect me. That bus runs on a two way street. How often does Parts drop the ball and ask the tech or service advisor can they wait another hour or day? It happens, wether it's a delivery running late or your manufacturer didn't ship an overnight part. And sometimes, yes, the parts team honestly drops the ball ...

Full Service is gone, Now XL Parts is doing it to you

Full Service was a parts wholesaler but they were bought out years ago.

Now it's XL Parts buying Mopar from a dealer in Houston (email me for their name), for at least 15% under our dealer cost and then reselling to anybody on the street for less than any dealer can afford to sell for.
