But it is an exciting new opportunity!!!!!! FYI salvage yards have been around for a long time. GM must have hired someone that has ties to that yard since they are the only one mentioned. Even if GM was going to be on the helpful side of things, I have not seen in some areas, where they put anybody in place that can help us. If there is such a person they are not there long.

Sounds about the same for us Canadian dealers trying to get parts out of the US. Pre strike/pre covid Our guideline to customers was 5-7 days and normally that was normally accurate. Now I simply tell them it'll show when it does...wait for the call. We look like idiots.
