New scenario I just ran into. We had a part that was purchased and billed last month. cost was $236.00 last month and is now $251.00 this month. all is fine until we try to adjust the sell price. The system will not allow a different sell price unless we change cost to the current month. If we change cost to make the system happy we now have to send an adjustment to accounting. Any thoughts from some old pro's out there. I'm 8 months new on this system and worry we are doing something wrong.

Steven, what DMS are you using? CDK, R&R, DT?

The adjustment should be in the price update report. That should be booked every month. You shouldn't have notify them on every part. Just the dollar amount the inventory changed on the price update.
