GMSP Parts indentifer code?

Does anyone know how or where to pull a list of stocking GSMP parts? Or where it's coded to show GMSP?

We have THIS Promo Code list, but it doesn't say what's what.

GMSP Parts indentifer code?

Richard,
I hope this helps.

00 GM Non GM parts
01 GM Part not eligible for RIM management/replenishment
02 GM Parts with an approved RIM stocking policy and currently RIM
03 GM Permanently Excluded Parts (from RIM management)
04 GM SP=N and SPQ>=0 (out of Stocking Policy Basket; RIM managed
05 GM SP=Y AND SPQ>=0 (IN STOCKING POLICY BASKET; RIM MANAGED
06 GM SPD=Y and SP=N (Dealer inserted Stocking Policy, although cu
07 GM 10 week Excluded Parts
08 GM Purged Parts
09 GM SP!=Y (never had a stocking policy)
99 GM Error Handling

You can see a full description of these in PD, 50, page down to OEM Codes. GM will send a master RS file to Arkona that lists the RS code for each part under their control. You can see these individual RS codes by in Parts in Inventory. Pull up the part record and use F4 at the command prompt at the bottom of the screen:

Function Selection

1 = History
2 = Factory Master
4 = Delete
5 = In Process
6 = Demand by Month
7 = Assign Core Part
8 = Replacement History
9 = Replace/Interchange Part
10 = Change Status
11 = Display, Sort Part Numbers
12 = Change Cost
13 = GM - RIM
15 = Linked Parts

If option 3=Stock Order Criteria is on the screen, then the part is not RIM controlled. If the part is RIM controlled, then option 13=GM RIM will be displayed instead. Use the option to display the RS code for the part along with the RIM assigned Best Stocking Level (BSL).

Each night between 5:00 and 6:00 pm MST, Arkona will compile a Daily Sales File (DSF). This file will be a list of all RIM controlled parts that have had any activity in the last 24 hrs. It will include the current on hand qty, the on order qty, BIN Location, etc.

GM will analyze the DSF and create an incremental RIM State (RS) file and a RIM Stock Order. The Incremental RS file will be any changes to the RS codes for the parts. The Stock Order is generated by RIM using their criteria. Arkona has no control over the stocking levels. Basically, Arkona becomes the mailman and delivers files back and forth.

We have also had dealers calling in over the last few days about a code that GM assigns to the parts to specify what type of part it is. This is being called the GSMP code. Here are a list of the codes we have found for these:

A=Accessories
B=Bumper Fascia / Grilles Truckload order
M=Volume Collision Parts
T=Tires
X=not quite sure what this one is for, it is a mix of various parts possibly a special pricing?
