Arkona stock calculations

My dealer is looking at Arkona (currently on ADP) I spoke to a dealer that is on Arkona and they inform me that a part is not releived from inventory until the repair order closes,if this is true how does it calculate stock orders and such ?? we are a large dealer with about 600 stock order lines daily and im very concerned about this.

That's not true. It puts the part in process (Work-in-process) but the part is no longer in your inventory, and will show '0' available for sale. We've been on ARKONA for 4 yrs + and havn't had any real problems with stocking levels, ect; well, until RIM came along, anyway.
