Retail customers codes as wholesale

Anyone else having this problem?

Customer is added to system by sales or service. Somehow they are getting coded as wholesale. At thier first customer pay repair when we make a quote for parts is defaults to wholesale. we have to go into customer info and change them back to retail. I need to go up and wtach them add a new customer to see where it may be getting done but thought maybe somene here has seen it already.

Dealertrack does not have a way to manually change your preferred customer type ie: R=Retail or W=Wholesale, perhaps that's an option in the back files somewhere. I would suggest that you recreate the issue, and make a case for it. I haven't heard of this happening to anyone else.
