New to Dealertrack, actually, we haven't been installed yet, but just playing around with some of the Parts Screens. We go live in 3 weeks. Does Dealertrack sort Ford part numbers the way ford sorts their part numbers, meaning, sort by basic first, (numerically then alphabetically) then by prefix, (alphabetically then numerically) or do they sort by Ford prefix first ? Is there an option as to how it sorts part numbers ? Thanks, Lee

DT can sort by base then suffix then prefix. VW uses a parts numbering system simular to Ford.

Ie: 06D-115-562 and 06E-115-562A oil filterS. DT would sort this as 115-562-06D AND 115-562A-06E would be next.

I have to dig around to see where option to change that is but I am sure DT will set you up that way from the start.
