Are other dealers seeing an uptick in audit activity?

I don't know about recent activity but I would like to share an audit experience with DCX. A few years ago my family had to take over a dealership my brother had operated. My brother died unexpectedly and had no continuation plan. After being jerked around for 6 months by DCX they approved the new ownership. One week after the approval DCX showed up for a sales incentive audit. After the audit we were charged back for incentives paid over the last few months my brother operated. The auditor claimed the audit had been scheduled several months prior. Funny thing no one ever mentioned that in the approval process.
