I am a new sales person and have never done this job before. I want to be able to do the best job I can. Where should I start? Does anyone think this Bulletin Board will help me with my job and if not what can this Bulletin Board do for me? What has this Bulletin Board done for you? If you can help I can surely use it. I dont understand a lot of questions that are in this Bulletin Board. I want to be able to respond to peoples questions; what can I do to understand better? I know that after doing the job I will understand better, but can anyone give some helpful hints?

Go to www.grantcardone.com and click on the "Automotive" icon. From there, click on the "Sales Tools" link. All of the materials this organization offers are first rate, and will definitely get you off to a good start (providing you put them to use).

Best of luck to you!

Your question reminds me of some advice I got from a dealer years ago on reading automotive news, he said if you make a point to read it on a regular basis it will help you in at least two ways:
1) You will find things through time that will help you in your particular sales situation
2) One day you will find yourself close to a conversation that has nothing at all to do with your job, by knowing what they are talking about you wont feel out of place.

Please read on and dont be afraid to click on something that doesnt make any sense, you may just learn something!

hi, and welcome to the business,,, i know this may sound awfully frank,, but if you want to "really" do a great job,, forget about all of the "old school" trainers and immediately call Paul Cummings World Wide,, at 800-823-7698. do this and you will forever have your co-workers wandering how you "get it done",, good luck.

Quit Now and Get a Real Job, unless the initial training provided by the dealership is at least two weeks long. (This does NOT include time spent with another salesperson)
