Hello All,

Glad I found this place, hope it stays active. I have always believed the best information on the net is found in forums. I will be sure to contribute whenever I am able.

I am a small used dealer in Illinois and I recently started selling cars on the internet.

Lately, I have had customers coming in from all over the country. The problem I am now facing is getting them financed. My local banks are great but they are not interested in anyone not from the area.

Who do you guys use? My internet sales are generally on cheaper stuff (3k-15k), and up until now have all been cash deals. I believe if I can get set up with a lender that makes it quick and easy this will really make my internet sales soar.

Thanks in advance!

-Dan

Take a look at www.bhphinfo.com, the website for the buy here pay here industry. They have a section listing resources for dealers, including national lenders. Might also check the NIADA website. You might also try the large consumer lenders like Household, Beneficial and Citicorp. They typically have branches all over the country.

Capital One. You can tie the financing right to the listing online, be it Autotrader or eBay. Customers can arrange financing right online. Good luck!
