how do I retain the keycode for my 1999 toyota sienna without paying for it when I go to the dealership to get an extra one? And how does the dealership usually charge to get a duplicate for the I already have just in case I lose my master key?

If you can prove you are ok to give a key too, then the code should be ok to give out also. Many states are currently attempting to have the laws changed requiring manufacturers make key code info available 24/7.
