Does the GM online vehicle order system work?

I've read that GM is going to improve their dealer service concerning online vehicle orders. The web is supposed to be the fastest interactive tool for mass communication these days, but I've understood that this was not the case with GM's web system. What improvements are most urgent from a dealer perspective?
