Ryan Insurance

As a consumer I purchased an extended warrantee through ******** from Ron Tonkin Accura in Portland Oregon. My 1996 Accura had a syncro problem in 3rd gear. I took the car to a Honda Dealer who removed the transmission and agreed the syncro was defective and should be replaced. ******* denied the claim because the factory tires and wheels had been replaced with custom wheels. Although different the diameter, was exactly the same. I have argued with Ryan, the Honda Dealer has argued with **** and The Acura Dealer who sold me the contract has argued with ****. Both dealers agree that the tires had nothing to do with the syncro failure and cannot believe that Ryan would reject this claim. **** argues that their contract states that "The following are not covered under your agreement, For a breakdown caused by or involving non-original manufacturer equipment, components or systems This is the first and only time I have tried to use this warranty. I paid $1495.00 for the insurance and the repair is $800.00. It is their "high-end" product although I thinks Porcelain would be more appropriate. Does anyone out there have any suggestions? If this is the type of tactics that **** uses to cheat and defraud the consumer then I would suggest that all you dealers out there use a different after market warranty source.....Thanks.
