GM Bandits / Audits

Just received a beatiful little letter from the General that it is our turn in the bucket for a full review. Incentives, deals, warranty claims and anything else they want to look at that might be construed as a violation of the P&P Manual or the dealer agreement.
It has been a long time since we have had the men in black come into any of our stores for a witch hunt. Does anyone out there have recent experience?
I know that GM shares are on a down trend, but, they won't be able to get enough from me to replenish their purses. My guess is that audits will increase this year...

Generally when a dealership gets the standard full audit letter it means sales with little time spent in service. Service level warranty audits are normally conducted by the regional warranty specialist.

But just in case a couple of questions (1) who sent the letter (region or corporate); (2) Did they give you dates for the visit and expected length? (3) Is there a contact number or information for the lead auditor or person in charge of your review.

If you want you can email this info and we can develop a game plan from there. The #1 GM audit reason right now is a high percentage of penetration in a specific sales incentive. (As in they expected you'd sell 50 X models and you sold 100 x models.)
