Laptops in Service?

Laptops too slow?? Buy a better model. Sure, the ones for $500.00 say they'll do this and that..and they will...slowly. Better return on your investment to buy a faster model (lots of the cheap laptops run the less desireable processors that the chip manufacturers are trying to clear out)...and upgrade the RAM at time of purchase. A laptop with 1GB of RAM will run Windows Vista...barely. Upgrade to 2GB RAM and you can actually use them!

I can buy 2 fast pcs for the price of one fast laptop. The only advantage of the laptop is mobility.

....and spread out over 36 months, how much more is that? Pennies a day. I'd rather keep 'em mobile. You will save WAY more in time over 3 years if the Tech can keep his ass where he is and access the information he needs. My two pennies.....
