Leasing Software

Our leasing software contract is almost up and we are looking for a good replacement. One competitor is far too expensive for what our dealership does with leasing, and another is too cumbersome.

Our dealership is a midsized single-point Dodge and Dodge Truck Franchise. We sell about 500-600 new vehicles a year. Only about 5% of those vehicles were leases last year, although once the 0% and fire-sale mentality fades from DaimlerChrysler (crossing fingers) I expect we'll do 10-15% leases.

Any good software out there that does not cost an arm and a leg? We are looking for something that doesn't require a multi-year commitment or hardware upgrades or purchases. We have several PC's and broadband internet connection.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Mark,

MarketScan,Leasestar, and Lease Link are good sites to check out.
They are web-based so any internet-enabled PC can figure a deal.

They were all on display at NADA.

Just a reminder. DealersEdge.com sells advertising space.

Mike,

I did hesitate in my post before sending for the very reason you mentioned.

I see how you editted my post to remain neutral in what is offered.

Thanks

Mark,

I've used both Lease Profit and Lease Link. I think I like Lease Link better. One proviso, though. Always double check your rates and residuals from your lenders guides before you finalize the deal. Lease Link says they guarantee their rates and residuals but I'd hate to try to get them to pay!
