hi it and gsm would like to know why whenever i go on an interview unless i visit with the dealer i can never get hired. i have over 25 yrs experience in f&i, sales mgmt and gsm positions and trained with the best, i also continue to be a student for life. HELP

Typically management level hiring decisions are made by the dealer. If you are not getting to see them, you are not making a positive impression on the GM/GSM or whomever it is you are interviewing with.

Seems that, given your long experience, there is a good chance that the GM may see you as a threat. Don't underestimate the value that some managers put on having "yes men" around. You sure don't want to work for these types!
