Holding onto credit reports

We use dealertrack to pull credit reports. We do not print them. We have been thinking that keeps us from having to maintain additional files - you cant keep what you dont have. Good idea? Or, do we need to maintian a copy, on paper or in our computer regardless.

It's my understanding that you have to keep them(for two years) and be able to produce them.

If I get time I'll do some research, but you might check the internet for FCRA.
