I could use some opinions and ideas about implementing a BDC. I am a preety good size metro GM dealer.

What do you want the BDC to accomplish? Will it filter all incoming calls, sales and service, as well as internet inquiries? I work with a lot of dealerships and each BDC handles a different set of duties. Do you have a CRM program/software in place? I'd be curious to get more info and then share some ideas.

Linda,
Internet is my primary interest at this point. My current CRM program is with ADP.
We have a pretty comprehensive followup system for walk in, and phone ups, and it works well. I am not intersted in changing our present culture, but I feel there is room for improvement, and the opportunity to cast a wide net with the internet.
