Automotive News Article About UCS

Well it looks like the story is finally being told. Our UCS rep told us their latest update of software would not run on our server and we had to purchase a $70,000 server. We just re-signed with these guys a few years ago.

They way this company treats us is beyond belief. We are doing everything we can to get out of this contract but it looks pretty iron clad.

Can't imagine how they will operate when they own Reynolds and control a vast percentage of the market. The choices of who to use just got a lot smaller if you know what I mean.

Well, just heard from a friend that was at the Reynolds share holders meeting. I guess someone asked the head of reynolds if he would be reporting to the head of UCS as his new boss. His answer was 'Yes'.

End of story for Reynolds if my experiences with UCS have taught me anything.

I'm not sure what you were expecting. Did you really think that UCS was going to spend 2.8 billion dollars to purchase Reynolds and then give up the control of the company?

Blue, I see you are a software programmer in TX. Are you a UCS employee? I just like that the local R+R rep came in and said this was a merger and R+R would be running the show. I think that is similar to a Chrysler employee telling us that they were in charge when Mercedes bought them in a 'merger of equals'.
