CFI COMPLIANCE CRITERIA CHANGE

Postby jdpetey » Thu Feb 03, 2000 12:04 am

Bob, this is not a bad thing.

Prior to this bulletin, dealers were deterred from downloading the inventories too many times in a month, because, if they downloaded their inventory late in the month, they risked falling below 90% at months end.

So, if a dealer submitted his inventory on the first day of the month, and, reached the RSG Incentive, why should he download again?

With the new approach, dealers will download more often, leading to more ACCURATE LOCATOR INFORMATION, leading to better locator results, leading to better CSI. At least, that's what the change is intended to do.
It makes sense to me.

Before this, I would download our inventory only as many times as it took to reach CFI compliance, and then quit. Even if I reached compliance in the first week of the month.

Parts not located & parts not sold are the two big reasons I can see as the problem with the old way.

I hope it will make it easier for me to locate and also sell parts QUICKER.

Thanks for reading,
