First problem about 4 or 5 months ago was trying to find tire dealers who knew anything about this program. When I told them they had to give me a new tire "free" in exchange for a piece of paper they looked at me like I was crazy. I printed several of the Tire Warranty bulletins and handed them out. It was something they were unaware of.
Even when I called some of the tire manufacturers about the program, we were just as "well" informed. It took me a couple of weeks and about 50 phone calls to about 20 people to get my first tires.
To add insult to injury, a couple of the manufacturer phone numbers in the bulletin are wrong, and they still haven't been corrected . . . and they still refer you to those numbers anytime you have a problem.
Some of the data in the "auto populate" fields was wrong. These claims are invalid but can't be removed from my list of adjustments.
One of the changes to the site is that the UPS shipping label is supposed to print out on the Adjustment Claim form. It doesn't work for me and they don't know why.
One last thing and I'll shut up . . . on the site you can "View Tire Returned Adjustments". Despite the wording of the report this is a list of outstanding claims for tires that haven't yet been returned. When the tire return is done and the manufacturer completes the claim it is supposed to move to the "View Completed Adjustments" report. Even though I've returned 15 or so tires several months ago, they haven't moved to the "Completed Adjustments" from the "Tire Returned Adjustments" report.
I was told as soon as the manufacturer completes the claim it will move. No one can tell me how long that is supposed to take. I think 6-8 months should be enough time.
Since everyone else seems to be doing okay with the program I'll just chalk all this up to a little bad luck for me. I'm sure it'll get better.
Thanks again.
