Chuck, Sorry it took a while to offer a rebuttle or some dealership names that are moving parts on-line. I ended up geting to busy before the AROW V conference to check out the forums.

Fast-Net (World Parts) seems to be doing a pretty good job for their dealer members. there are other services as wll doing a good job.

Chuck, individual dealers are doing a good selling their parts as well, especially if they are tying into car clubs.

Don Herring Mitsubishi is doing a fantastic job.

If you need some more examples just let me know.

The process to selling parts on the Internet is like the process of selling parts over the counter. If you want more than walk in traffic (web traffic) you need to be doing the activities.

Take a look at the website of H&HChev.com (H&H Chevrolet, Omaha, NE) for a rather nice look and feel and friendly site. They use Yahoo auction for selling a lot of trash and trinkets (accessories) and are doing a good and growing job of it.
