BIN TAGS LEFT ON BINS

I AM ON R&R SYSTEM. DOES ANYONE HAVE A GOOD SYSTEM TO GET A LISTING OF BIN TAGS THAT SHOULD BE REMOVED?(AP OR DLT SOLD?)

Hi Al,

Run a 6910 report and use the following selection criteria

STS EQUAL AP""DLT AND
QOH EQUAL 0 AND
QPR EQUAL 0 AND
BIN1 NOT EQUAL SP-ORD


Then just use the fields that you want to see on the report and sort it by source or
part number. This will give you all AP and
Delete parts on zero status. Make sure to use your default bin location in the last selection criteria, which you can get by looking at 2322 to see what it is. That will eliminate a lot of the junk parts.

You can also use 2252 Parts to be
deleted. I set it up to run monthly after 2182. Then I have someone check the bins. Usually I find at least one item that has quantity on hand. I also get the old tags pulled at that time. I set 2252 for bin, n
numeric of course.
