12570800 Core

12570800 Core

Postby WhoParted » Fri Mar 14, 2014 6:03 pm

Bought a 12570800 Throttle body month from GM last month and it came with a $15 core charge. Submitted a core return yesterday and this comes back "INNELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE" WTF? So I check dealerworld and they have taken the core off it. My updated price tapes still show the $15 core so I guess I'm stuck with the charge.. Oh what a feeling

I sent one back the 27th of last month and did not receive credit for it.

I called Focus hope today but unfortunately they are CLOSED on Fridays.

Must be nice.

I will have fun with them on Monday. :D

Find your GM invoice with the core charge. They will work with you.

I just had the same thing happen to part number 12570801. I guess I have to get my hoop out and start jumping through it. So much fun. Gotta love that great GM feeling. Never mind this post, the core charge when I received it was zero, but my ACS system still had it showing a core value. My bad!!!

In the past, GM would issue a credit memo if you showed stock on hand. Find the date you receipted part in to inventory and also the date core was removed. Then look at your GM invoices from the time part was receipted to when core price was removed and see if you were given Core Credit since it was still in inventory when core price was removed.
