Labor Op Codes

Labor Op Codes

Postby Bailo1 » Fri Apr 04, 2014 3:08 pm

I know this is more service related, but I figured I'd ask it in here since you guys are jacks of all trades. Recently became service and parts manager and have ZERO experience in service. Trying to submit a warranty claim for a 2012 Silverado. All my tech did was replace the coolant nipple going into the intake but we can't find a labor op code for it anywhere...everything is for replacing hoses and pay way more than the .3 that it should be. Any ideas?

Use the closest labor op and just flag the time tech took (0.3) to do the job. I would use the intake op code first, if that didn't work I would try the hose op. I think that it really depends on the Part Group Number. I sometimes have to get very creative to get a claim to fly.
