Hearing some things in regards to R134a pricing. In particular, on the supplier side. Big price increase. Anyone else hearing anything about this?

I hear it every year, although you have my interest piqued. I might have to ask around.
Being browbeat for over 35 years now... First 13 years GM, then 20 years Chrysler... NOW BACK TO GM!! :|

As soon as the patent for R134 dies and they do not have a monopoly, just like R12.

We bought a tank of that new stuff about 2 years ago and still haven't cracked it open. Had a lot car here at the time that needed some( I waited until that point before ordering it) then when they went to use the machine, it needed to be registered or something and they couldn't do it. As far as I know, they never did get the machine registered.

They also dropped the price of the stuff about a month after i bought the tank
