Back counter- have advisors /techs upsell. Can't go too wild with a matrix, in this day and age with the internet, anyone can get dealer cost and list.

Front counter- Knowledgeable front counter sales persons

Wholesale- We are in a small market of about 300,000 people with a small inventory. We have all the big wholesalers within
a 100 miles of us. They are selling to the shops and body shops the same price they sell to us. All we can offer is a good price and better service.

Accessories- Lost cause!

Tires- Not in the tire business yet

Same here But with accessories, in 2015 they want us to start focusing on tires and accessories (such a pain) I was thinking about different incentives to pay my employees to push these products? Right now we don't stock many tires but our GM wants to change this.

Back counter: fire the "advisors" and hire real ones.
Front counter: waste of time, internet killed it
Wholesale: I have all I'm going to get, biggest wholesaler for three states is 20 miles away and delivers here.
Accessories: waste of time, I'll keep depending on my GM to dress up trucks when he feels like it.
Tires: I stock a set of all the sizes for our most popular vehicles. About 7k worth, just need advisors.
