Counterman Schedule

Anyone willing to share their countermen's schedules? Ours are on salary+commission; they average 41 hours/week. Their schedules are mostly set in stone with no rotating weekends. Our opening hours are M-F 7am-7pm and Sat 8am-5pm. I have 2 guys on every Saturday that have days off during the week. My other 2 guys work M-F. They each open one day and close one day. i.e. 7am-2pm and 12pm-7pm; each once per week. The other 3 days are 8am-5pm, 8am-6pm, and 8am-4pm. 6 sick days per year (coincidentally, each guy is sick exactly 6 times per year... ) 2 weeks vacation every year, if they need to leave early/come late, no questions asked. Total annual pay is average ~$45K-$55K. Central NJ import store.

I worked at a store with similar hours. Two guys were 5 days a week. One M-F 7-4:30, one T-S 8-5:30, the rest worked four ten hour shifts. 7-6 or 8-7. The four ten guys had Sunday and the two other days together off per week.

I have Chrysler and Toyota stores on the same lot. Chrysler department has an assistant manager that works by himself on Mondays from 7-6. He then works Tuesday to Friday 8-6 with a 1 hour lunch. There is 1 counterperson that works Tuesday - Saturday 7-3:30. I send someone from the Toyota store to cover my assistant's lunch hour on Monday when he is there alone. All of the wholesale for both stores is run out of the Toyota department.
My Toyota store has an assistant that works Monday - Friday 7:30-5:30 with a 1 hour lunch. I have 4 counter people. One works Tuesday - Friday 8 to 4:30 with 1/2 hour lunch and Saturday 7 to 3:00. The other three counter people work every third Saturday 9 to 5 and then they take the following Friday off. Monday, my assistant opens at 7. I have one counterperson from 7:30 to 4, one from 8:30 to 5 and one from 10:30 to 7. Tuesday to Thursday I have one from 7 to 3:30, one from 7:30 to 4, one from 8 to 4:30 and one from 10:30 to 7. I am always down 2 counter people every Monday and 1 on Friday.

Our hours are 7a-6p M-F and 8a-5p on Sat. I have 4 counter guys. 2 work 7-5, one 7:30-5:30 and one 8-6. I work 8-6. Saturday afternoons are usually the slowest so my guys alternate working one half day on Saturday and 1 full day on Saturday with 2 Saturdays off. I also run a one man honda parts dept. And I alternate every other Saturday with him. All countermen are salary plus commission.

I only have 1 guy. I work M-F 7-5 and every other Saturday 8-2. He works M-F 9-6 and every other Saturday 8-2. Neither of us make any money and days off are rare because it's a lot for 1 person and too many hours and no lunch.
