Summit Racing Engine warranty

Have any of you ever warrantied an engine purchased from Summit Racing? Is it treated just like an over the counter purchase?

I would call
THE OE POWERTRAIN CALL CENTER
1-866-OE-PARTS (1-866-637-2787)
They have made the call for us and issued a case number for not exactly a similar issue
