We have been playing with it for weeks. The front side sucks, but you will end up in the same place...after you figure out where to start :D

LOL - yup

What's even worse is how many people here in this dealership that had no idea what it was when it switched yesterday.

Like there weren't enough warnings and messages about it over the last couple months

Of all the things that GM (and dealerships) could direct their efforts toward fixing - GM Global Connect was NOT one of them.

This is clearly one of those IF IT ISN'T BROKEN...

Furthermore, they didn't make it compatible with a newer browser. We are still stuck with IE9 in most cases - unless you want to use this or that or ...

As a wise person once said - Change for the sake of change

For the record we are still using the old Global Connect - haven't been switched and will wait until the last moment to use the new one.

For a good laugh call the help desk and if you get a North American resident talk to them about the complaints. Of course they are only hearing from the unhappy dealerships but this is one product that appears to be universally hated. Those items that don't work well (Alerts), will not be changed - live with it. The support people will agree with you on how bad the new system is. Why do you think it was delayed...

Nothing has changed but the home page. Instead of changing that, why not work on making the system more reliable?

True. I just use the new home page to get me to the old page and work from there. 8-)
