Winter Booking/Pre-Mounts/Winter Tire Season

For some of us, winter tire season is upon us. Most of us have put in our winter booking order, and have received your initial order. My question to you all is how many do you typically initially order, where do you put them, do you order any pre-mounts, etc. I would love for this trend to gain some traction.
