Collision Parts Rebates

Collision Parts Rebates

Postby lstacy65 » Tue Sep 13, 2016 12:31 pm

New to GM parts here and at a small store. Does anyone have a step by step guide or process how to submit claims for parts bought by your body shop to get whatever rebates or credits back. Toyota had a similar program but not sure how GM works. My Rep doesn't have any answers for me at all and I'm slowly getting used to that. Thanks.

We send ours through Collision Link (OEC). Are you on OEConnections? If not, go onto the GMLAM (dot) com website for instruction.

First you have to make sure that your dealer ship is signed up for the dealer body shop program which is accessed through gmprograminfo (on the wholesaling parts / collision tabs).
In order to get the rebates your body shop has to order their parts to your parts department using CollisionLink. I found the hardest part is getting the body shop to transmit the orders but that is just takes training.

The good part is there is no paperwork to file to get the rebates it's all automatic, and depending on the size of your body shop 3.5% adds up really quick.
