PRICE LINK UPDATE

PRICE LINK UPDATE

Postby X476 » Thu Sep 29, 2016 8:17 pm

As of today on Dealerworld

As a result of this review, effective October 1, 2016, over 35 thousand parts more commonly used in the service lane than in collision repair will be removed from MyPriceLink

You mean to tell me they actually listened to the dealers, is it April 1st

I need you opinions on MYPRICELINK. My DMA brought his boss around today and the topic came up and I voiced my opinion. He asked me to e-mail him my thoughts and concerns with it and he will try to set up a meeting with others to discuss it. I would like to hear the opinions of others to put in my e-mail to him. Thank you in advance. Personally I am beyond frustrated with it and the extra time it takes not to mention the additional costs the DMS wants to integrate. Myself I have done like many others and just set up my own list price at cost plus 67% and trade at cost plus 25%. Thank you in advance!!

mrtanoury: Along with searching the comments on this forum, go to the DFOAB on GlobalConnect. There are several issues posted on the subject and dozens of relevant comments (along with some great rants)

Wish I still had access to DFOAB although I'm sure GM is quite happy I don't :)

GM doesn't care about your issues. As long as they make all the money, and take your wholesale business and give it to one of their giant dealers, they are happy.
