I set the catalog to the start w/o a vehicle, then go to the field to the right of where you would enter a vin #. Put your # there and it will search for you. There are also other ways to search by # but that's an easy way.

USB UPDATE. The directions state to "Plug in (the USB) and forget!"

However you must remove the USB when the update is done. When our server did a self restart, it wouldn't start back up with the USB still in..

My local catalog is still running at half the speed of the online one. All the updates have been done. What is the point?

I gave up on my local. I just use the one in global, it is so much faster. Snap on guy was just here 3 weeks ago. He agrees the catalog on Global is much faster? I was complaining about the same thing about how slow it was and he just said use the one on global and if internet is down or something switch back and use the local. Its pretty sad when there own employees know the catalog sucks

Has anyone else in the past gave up on their local & just went with the online catalog?
Pros or Cons? I'm assuming there is a price reduction for the department!
