Clearing Out "On Order" in ADP and R & R

Can anyone possibly provide a step by step process on how to remove items from "On Order"

Any help would be greatly appreciated

In ADP/CDK, go into the order and hit F6 (Process), arrow down to cancel and hit enter.

But be careful, if there's still an open SOR on the part, it will roll into your next order and order it again next time you roll your SORs. So you'll also have to kill any SORs attached to that part.

This was a nightmare (one of many) when I came here. Parts were being manually (other) receipted instead of receipting the order they were on. So those orders were still open. There were literally hundreds of them which killed any plans of using IRE to suggest an order since the system thought they were still on order. Took quite a while to clean that mess up

I currently have tires on ARO and they arent replenishing due to them being "On Order"
