Does anyone here know if RIM for GM pays attention to Full Bin quantities in CDK?

CDK Full Bin info means nothing to RIM.

If you want to limit stocking on an item, you've got to enter the Full Bin criteria within RIM.

As long as the parts in question are being ordered thru RIM it won't affect your purchase loyalty.

It may have a minimal impact to your compliance as you would not be accepting RIM recommendations in their entirety.

the only way to prevent an overstock from happening from RIM is to have the parts that you want exempted in a source which cannot be read by RIM. This requires a new (usually done at a resigning of an existing contract) with the DMS, demanding a number of sources which data is protected by the DMS and CANNOT be sent or transmitted to any third party without the dealers' written consent, on a case by case basis. The DMS will resist this, but in the end, if they want to keep your business they will comply. Make sure any addendum to such a contract is reviewed by the dealers' legal council. Do not depend on verbal confirmation by the DMS.
