Just a note on Chuck's article in The Parts Manager (06/2000):

You can exclude fields from the factory master update on the Reynolds system through executable 2335, use the source override to do that for specific sources or set the master on the main screen.

Also ERA has the ERALINK software that can be utilized on a PC similar to Report Generator (6910) that makes this utility much more versatile than the "canned" 6910.

I stand corrected. Just looked at 2335 and you are right on. As far a ERALINK, how have you found it to be easier to work with?

Are you running several reports and doing a SUPER QUERY BUILDER?

Hi Chuck:

Isn't this a great forum for exchanging information and learning new things. My reference on ERALINK is that by using Query Builder you can use many more selection criteria (no limit that I have found) and the reports are much easier to modify by adding and deleting items in a graphical interface verse having to know all the codes or blowing out old information. The other neat thing (if you can figure it out) is the ablity to use an idescriptor editor and add needed fields in the different files. Never having used ADP I am a R&R fan perhaps in ignorance and at my own peril but we stick with what we know. I have learned a lot about the ERA system that I thought I was pretty knowledgable about through these boards so I am glad to have access to it.
