Do many of you have trouble on a regular basis here lately getting your core credits. I have some going back 6 months that I have called, faxed, and emailed numerous times with no results. Every time I try to find out something, they want me to send them the PC 78 and 302 with the signatures and all the answerbacks. They should already have this info on file,,, if they can know where I buy my parts from to ding me every chance they get. This is amounting to several thousand dollars. I have engine cores that were sent back a week ago and got credit, but other engine core returns older than a month. There has got to be somebody to talk to without getting the run around. I think it has gotten worse in the last year. No help whatsoever and they do not seem to care.

I do have trouble.. but I never bother calling them anymore.

I just scan and send them an email with a copy of the return and the PC 302 and ask when I can expect the credit.

I don't think they have ever actual responded, but the credit usually shows up a few days after the email.

THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO HANDLE THESE CASES, BUT THEY GIVE YOU 0 COMMUNICATION. JUST HAVE TO LOOK FOR THE CREDIT. IF IT DOESN'T SHOW IN A WEEK, REPEAT THE PROCESS ALL OVER AGAIN.

Agreed with the 2 posts above me. This is the way we do it now and I had no issue getting the credits back with in 5 working days. They were short staffed for a good while which led to backed up credit invoicing for everyone. Whenever we would call they would tell us they scanned our cores and are waiting on invoicing. Im hoping this has been resolved finally.

This issue has gone on for a very long time. Thankfully, I have not had the extreme experiences most others have. DFOAB is riddled with issue after issue, and the problem should have been resolved long ago. It really appeared to be a cash flow problem, in my opinion, regardless if it was staffing OR just cash retention/delay tactics. Some dealers had $15k+ in core monies owed to them, and had been in arrears for over 6 months!
