WTF GM

15 Escalade. Need lower control arm. Tech says its aluminum.... simple......22853473 and its coming overnight buttttt there is a new number that's local and coming first thing in the AM awesome!! 84114505 comes in first thing and its steel!!!!!!!! No big deal right? WRONG because the catalog says when replacing steel it needs a new sway bar link. How in the heck does GM change one style number to a new number and not not it???? The catalog is clear on the other number as far as a design change but not the number I ordered!! So the part number for the alm arm changes to the steal arm in global. Doesn't seem right..........

22853473 still shows as a good number, and shows stock in Lansing. Doesn't even say when stock exhausted will change to the new number. Typical GM cluster f**k. Surprised the catalog doesn't show the number change and the new number is a future part.

I did see the old number was avail but I would have had to cross my fingers that fedex had it. So I went and ordered the new one knowing I would have it early AM
