Return Reserve

I haven't done a return on CDK/ADP in years, been on R&R, but I would use MSR. I seem to recall it would only pull what you could actually return. MNS ignores all return codes. Still a good report, I always ran that later to see what I was still stuck with.

You can also just click on "inventory" under the "report and analyze" aka - the pie

there you can set it to show MNS and MNR up to any amount of months. All kinds of good stuff in there

I love and live by that screen

Zep33,
I'm on R&R but over 1/2 of the inventories I do are on CDK. Back in March during an audit, the parts mgr showed me that. It IS an awesome tool. I was floored by it. How long has that been there? I hate I missed it however long.

I agree. MSR is very useful once you get the hang of it. Thankfully, it has a good help file. And you are correct, one option is for returnable parts only.

You didn't do anything wrong. You likely submitted a large return at the beginning of the month and you haven't earned enough reserve this month to offset that return amount in the "current month" column. Your "current year" column paints a more accurate picture of what's going on.
