We sell a New or RM transmission over the counter and it has a 36 mo 100,000 mile parts and labor warranty.... if something fails within the tranny the warranty is not to do a repair but to replace with new tranny through out the initial warranty period correct? Customer asked this today and I don't think we've ever done any kind of repair to them or any of our shops we've sold to, but do think it's a fair question.... TIA

PARTS ONLY WARRANTY when sold to and installed by a consumer. So would over the counter to a consumer (installing) still be 36 mo. 100,000 miles or would it be 24 months... Also if we sell to a consumer and he has an invoice (proof) of an ISC installing it for him if there was ever a problem would it then be covered under the parts and labor if there were to ever be an issue? Just covering my rear as we don't have this situation happen enough for me to know the answers. TIA
