PART WEBSITE SALES TAX COLLECTION

Hope all is well with everyone at this time.

Question, we left the online marketplace (our own website) do to the sales tax laws, owner was a little scared to not collect it. As the laws have changed a bit, I know the Amazons, and ebays collect and file the sales tax when something is sold.

If you host your own website who collects the sales tax if required by law? Does any actually collect and file the sales tax in each county/state that it is required?

If you don't does your website do this for you or the credit card processing do this.

LIke to get back into the online market place as the big guys fees are crazy. but want to adhere to what the owner wishes and do it correctly.

Sounds like a question for who ever does the dealers taxes
